#7 You shall not steal.

#11 You shall not be a dumbass and steal from someone while in church.

Technically, if they go to Confession and repent, then all is forgiven ... ... ...

#12. Thou shalt not be a fool and leave purse, money, i.d., etc. laying around to be stolen.

The new places to rob folks, church, weddings, funerals. Folks have a tendency, why I do not know, to leave purses, jackets with billfolds in them, in a common place during these events. Someone could come in, dressed appropriately, go through them and just leave once they are done.

Since most are kept in a foyer type area, the crook does not even have to confront anyone. And if like most, can hear footsteps coming and can hide out for a bit.
