Who killed Ger Lee?

Interesting murder case from the Neosho area. Lee was a Laotian native who moved to Missouri and joined a Hmong community near Cassville in Barry County. He disappeared in February, and a few months later, his body was discovered in a field near Granby.

The Newton County sheriff says the case has gone cold, though there's a chance it might be tied to Lee's opium habit -- a habit that, his family says, he hadn't quite kicked. Snip from the Joplin Globe:

Lee was seen in the company of another Asian male in Barry County with tattoos on his hands prior to his disappearance on or about Jan. 10. The description of the tattoos reportedly matched tattoos St. Paul police noted on a passenger in Lee’s vehicle at the time of his arrest.
