I don't care what the cops say - I'm not sold on the idea that he did it. They need Dr. Richard Ofshe on this case. (False Confessions due to Dissociative States)
Also, I don't understand why he would have Rolling Stone's Bassist Ron Wood as his attorney on such a serious case. :-)

The police chief wants an 8 year old tried as an adult? I think I'm going to throw up. Who are we hiring as police chiefs these days??

Kids are particularly easy to coerce. In fact, it's not difficult to convince a kid that he did something that he did not do.
Anyone remember the story of Peter Reilly (A Death in Canaan)? The only thing that saved him was that his confession was trumped by an unshakable alibi. Thank goodness friends and family came to his defense despite his confession.

Hey Jellybean,
Ron Wood is a guitarist for the Stones, not the bass player. Pretty sure he is still a better choice than Keith Richards.
