Promising law-enforcement career ends in a flash

In Minnesota, a young cop faked the arrest of an 18-year-old woman and told her that he'd let her go if she showed her breasts. The cop, who worked part-time, was forced to quit and is getting probation and a $200 fine. No word if the young lady actually followed through.

Who in their right mind would hire an 18 year old to be a police officer? I had 2 fine, upstanding boys who were mature for their age, but no way would they have been good police officers at that age.

she must have some great breast

The girl was 18, the cop was 23.

Yep, promosing career in law enforcement - engaging in illegal detainer (which would amount to kidnapping charges for your or me); abuse of power; sexual assault (remember assault is not just physical); and violations of an innocent person's civil rights.

If this had been me or you - several years in prison and a lifetime registration requirement as a sex offender. For a cop - $200 fine and probation.

it's a celebration B#$%@s! Come over here and show Steven yo t#$#$es

was the juice worth the squeeze?

There are 3 or 4 cops in Parkville that look like they are about 16 years old. I just don't get it. Why would they automatically decide right out of high school not to go to college and do this? And I would like to ask why they got hired so young, but I guess that goes along with the EOE.

Do you know why I pulled you over mam?
I'm going to need to see your license, registration and yabo's mam.

Was the girl Pamela Anderson???

Was the girl a Pamela Anderson look alike?

Probation and a $200 fine? Are you kidding me? If I handcuffed someone and made them show me their tits, i would be going to prison. Complete and total BS!!!!! These cops think the can do whatever they want, why shouldn't they, their ignorant un-educated pieces of $h*t!

We need to start making police have a 4 year bachelors degree, minumum. Obviously the guy doing the hiring isn't a genius either. I wonder if cops know that the majority of the country thinks that they are all idiots?

The article says the cop was 23. Police departments are hiring people who shouldn't even be hired to flip burgers.

"Excuse me, miss. Yes, I pulled you over for speeding, but it says on your license here that you are an organ donor. I just need to check to see if your mammary glands are satisfactory for donation. You'll need to show them to me."

"Excuse me, miss. Yes, I know I pulled you over for speeding, but it says here on your license that you'll be willing to be an organ donor. I'm afraid I'll need to check your mammary glands to see if they're satisfactory for donation. You need to show those to me now..."

dash cam video of said breasts?????

Hehe @Kevin. Good one. Can we get that video on u-tube

Yea, them fricken COPS, we should get rid of all of them. Then your breast can relax and know that only non-cops will want to see them,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,retards

I think it's a fair trade. COP gets to see some tatas and the girl gets out of trouble. Nothing wrong with that! It's not like he asked for a hummer.

Gee, that's a thought. I know many college graduates who want to go into a field where you can get shot at, run over, accused of everything under the sun and hated by every dirtbag in the world for $32,000 yr. starting salary. Hell, why not require a doctorate?

I believe you will find that the minimum age (federal) to buy a handgun is 21. Therefore, I do not think you will find police officers younger than that. In fact in this case he was 23. That in no way justifies what he did, unless of course they were a really great rack...

I don't think its an age issue. I'm sure somewhere in the world there is a 40 yr old guilty of same or equal practice. They should screen these sickos a little closer.

I totally agree with "morons are everywhere's" comment.

Also he should register as a sex offender,, probo and fine is a slap in the face of the citizens their suppose to be protecting.. Remember the Jackson County Sherriff who raped a girl in his squad car,, just got probo, and other penilties, but no time...Judge gave him SES or some crap like that.. i dont get it.

I know multiple college graduates that would love to make $32,000 a year, so kiss off moron.

Your comments are testaments to your own level of ignorance. First off, the majority of officers on departments now have a minimum of an associates degree or 60 hours of college. So your claim that they are uneducated are for the most part unfounded. As for the second writers comments about having a minimum Bachelor degree, no doubt he/she feels that this would have prohibited the officer from doing something stupid. I can assure you, it would not have. Yes, I am an officer, and I can tell you that the majority of the cops in the metro area finding themselves jobless because of stupidity have college and/or degrees. So your reasoning is in and of itself ignorant. However I am sure that you and the people you work with in whatever it is that you do are perfect in every way and the H.R. person that hired you was obviously a fortune teller to determine that you and your associates were going to be dreamy employees.

You are the type of people that I would encounter when I was assigned to traffic duties. I would have to go out and work a complaint of speeding cars in the neighborhood by someone like you, and generally within the first 10 cars stopped, was the one that called to complain in he first place. They couldn't get over the fact that they were getting a ticket, after all, they were the ones that complained about it. You will notice that I did not refer to either of you as stupid, merely ignorant. After all, there is a difference. I refer you to Websters Dictionary if you need the definitions of both. You have the luxury of sitting in your warm little home and dictating your point of views about how rotten the cops are. No doubt however, at 3 in the morning when you hear that noise outside your window at night, you are the first one to pick up the phone and call those idiots to see what is going on. By the way, studies HAVE been done and they reveal that most officers with little or no college, are most often the ones satisfied with their career choice, will stay for a career and generally are the most productive, vs. the "degreed one" who is merely looking to pass the time until something better comes along.

Oh, by the way. I'm a High School graduate.

Hooray for Old Timer.

Look if you have a decent rack and people want to see them, there is no wrong if you are comfortable with it. I can say this a big "boobed" woman. I take pride in them and I don't see why women get so upset...unless they don't have any.

The even bigger problem is that an employer cannot not decifer, even though many attempts to obtain as much personal information as possible, how an employee will turn out.

My husband is a cop and therefore I make sure that he doesn't gone to work with too many loaded guns :-). I hope you get my drift.

And if the world ran on bachelor's degrees, could you imagine how broke EVERYONE would be? College is not for everyone. And I think, isn't going to the police academny equilvant to an associate's degree? It is just like law school..you go to law school to learn...you go to police academy to be an officer...you go to dental school to be a dentist...you watch Fox News to become a right wing republican.

Cheerio

Mr. Officer, while you are here and have our attention, why not educate everyone here about the sick phenom called "gangstalking" which is reaching epedemic proportions here in Kansas City....and that some officers actually in it...let alone the hundreds of others of you who look the other way...including Ms. Morris.

It's not that we blame the many good officers for the nasty actions of a few...its that we are well aware of your code of silence and you'all are spineless when it comes to cracking down on your own in blue.

We are not an ignorant lot here. The bad boys and girls within your own department serve up your reputations longgggggg before our first encounter with you.

Let's see.....8% of all citizen complaints lead to disciplinary action for PD employees? And we are to believe you guys police yourselves?

When will you guys/gals finally grow a pair (upper pair or lower pair...depending) and end the code of silence which breeds further misconduct within your ranks?

You guys signed up to chase bad guys with uzi's...not us. We chose calmer professions. It was your choice and on the surface an honorable one. But since chasing bad guys with uzi's is what YOU signed up for....don't use it as an excuse to violate the rights of rest of us.

Yeah maybe an 18 year old would not make a trust worthy cop in some peoples eyes, but someone thought it was a good idea. I think at 18 it would be really hard to find a gentle man who is trust worthy enough to put into a positon like this, hell it's hard to find a trust worthy cop who's been on the force for 15 or more years.

Enough fighting, lets just see the jugs.

I think jpeg needs some education. My grandson writes better than she! However, I'd still like to see her jugs.
