Cops shoot dog -- owner files civil-rights lawsuit

Claiming that her right to unreasonable seizure was violated when the dog was killed. (The animal had already been injured.)

I hope she wins. Even if that dog was still trying to bite the police officer, and who wouldn't after being shot, it wasn't a threat anymore. Police are supposed to be adult professionals, not two year old psycho-jerks.
