From Bob Cronkleton: A man suffered serious injuries this morning during an armed robbery outside a Kansas City laundry. The street robbery occurred about 4:30 a.m. in the 3500 Block of Main Street. Further details, including suspect information, were not immediately available this morning.

While this did indeed take place outside the laundry, given the time of day; I suspect it had nothing to do with the laundry. So, why the spurious detail?
