Westboro Baptist really doesn't want to pay $5 million judgment
From The AP: A lawyer for Topeka-based Westboro Baptist Church on Tuesday urged the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond to overturn a Maryland jury’s $5 million award to the family of Matthew Snyder, a Marine who was killed in Iraq. Protesters carried signs with inflammatory messages like, “You’re going to hell.”
An attorney for the church said the messages were grounded in the congregation’s religious beliefs and were protected by the Constitution.
The Snyder family’s attorney said the messages were not protected because they did not involve a matter of public concern.
As I have said before, evil S.O.B.s. Not Christians in any sense of the word.

They don't want pay the $5 million but they have money to try and place ads on DC buses. Sounds like they might have lied to the judge about how much money they have.

Believe it or not Bent Phelps-Roper, Son in law and member of Westboro is the human resource manager/ director of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners in Kansas City. He is in charge of diversity training and whatnot.

Once again Fred Phelps and the gang prove their immature hatred.
He uses religion to justify hurting people, this is not what the original idea of Christianity was supposed to be.
Every single member of the evil WBC is going straight to hell, there is a special place where Fred Phelps will burn for the horror he has done to the familys of people who died protecting him and his worthless congregation.
