Interesting case from Michigan, where a deaf woman killed her live-in boyfriend after he tried to break up. She initially confessed, but it was thrown out. Apparently, you CAN confess via sign language, but only after the Miranda rights have been signed by someone certified in the Miranda ins-and-outs. (There's no sign for "Miranda" or "Constitution," the Detroit News reports.)
