Charges filed in late December homicide

Kirk Fincher, 18, has been charged in Jackson County with first-degree murder Murder in the death of Ryan Onckelet, who was fatally shot on Dec. 30 in an apartment parking lot in the 100 block of North Belmont. Fincher, in the probable cause, denies the shooting. Witnesses told police that Fincher had wanted to kill someone named Jeremy -- and even went so far as to write the name on a hollowpoint bullet. (Police found a casing with "JEREM" at the crime scene.)

they do not need to know about the incident. he killed someone so yea he is another punk off the street. i knew the victim. met him in the 6th grade. he did not deserve this in any way whatsoever. he was an awesome person. no one deserves to be shot and killed. this punk gets everything that is coming to him.

For your information the suspect is my brother and I know that he did not commit this crime. He is not that kind of person. Yeah you do need to know about the incident to judge the people involved in it. You were not there and don't know what went on so you can't say that he did or did not do it you have NO proof. Just because you "met" the victim in 6th grade doesn't mean you know what kind of person he was before he died. So just keep your big snoopy nose is your own business because NONE of this involves you at all.

i knew the victim very well and i knew what kind of person he was when he died. no one deserves to be killed unless they have taken the life of someone else and ryan had never done that. this kid has been pointed out but a number of different people as the person that killed ryan so he does deserve eveything that comes to him. He took Ryan from this earth. even if it wasnt ryan he was trying to shoot. that makes it even worse. if you think you are so big and bad, that you can just take someones life from them, at least make sure you are killing the right person!!!

I know right from wrong. this became my business when this man felt he had the right to take away someone who was a big part of my life. why would I not judge him?!?! if it had been your brother that was killed, instead of him being the killer, you would want justice also. they could not arrest him without enough evidence to make them believe it was him. its not like they just picked some random guy to pin this on! maybe you should stop trying to make excuses for him and realize that he broke the law and took a life!! It's all just he said she said crap. None of his prints on the gun or the shell casing, they didn't even test him for gunpowder residue on his hands.
