Listed below are links to weblogs that reference Dad didn't want to pay child support, so he killed his son, police say:

Certified POS with a VIP ticket to HELL!!!

Maybe he and Casey Anthony should become prison pen-pals. They seem to have selfish motivations in common. Family first.

Actually, Drew.. we dont know the following things:
1: Did she actually do it?
2: If she did.. what WAS her motive?

Searching....
1. Yes she did it.
2. Motive was selfishness. She didn't want to be a parent either.
3. And, she's crazy!

He didn't want to pay child support?? Well, he will be paying a whole lot more now. Poke, Poke. Baby killers don't last long in jail.

I watched caseys interogatin tapes and believe me,SHE'S GUILTY! Her motive? Like so many other spoiled american kids. She didn't want the responsibility. She thought she wanted a baby and then she wanted to go out and play and baby got in the way!
As for the dad who killed his own son. What a scum bag of the worst kind!

it will all come out in the trial.. she probably did do it..but the trial still has to happen.

What a pyscho, if he didn't want to be a father and pay child support he should have used birth control.

AllnADaysWork, Casey didn't want a baby. She tried to give her daughter up for adoption but her mother wouldn't let her and for some reason Casey did what her mother wanted instead of telling her that it's not her decison to make.

What a piece of SH**...

You know, maybe if the family courts actually gave the father full time or at least a 50/50 split of custody with the mom and didn't have to pay child support he wouldn't have done it. The real criminal in this case is the family services and court for taking the fathers son away and penalizing him on top of it.

I do not believe, for one moment, that this was about child support. This was about a battered relationship between the boy's parents, and a black man who had been pushed to the limits and, like so many, cracked. I will admit that I have not followed this story, but I was struck by the fact that he had custody rights but had never visited the boy until the day he picked him up and killed him. A father's custody/visitation rights are not often upheld by the courts and - I can only speak for the Black community - there are many women who do not recognize these rights, use financial support and other emotional reasons to withhold visitation, use their children as pawns, and otherwise create hostile environments for the fathers. This was not about child support as much as it was about ending the torment of his relationship with her.

I feel sorry about this on so many levels...

Drinking the Kool-Aid, R2? The real criminal is the idiot dad. He didn't want custody. The article says he had custody rights but didn't even see the kid until he picked him up to kill him. Sheesh.

Sometimes tongue-in-cheek comments aren't funny... like in this case, R2.

Did you think that in this case "Mom" withheld those right from the father and he grew increasingly frustrated by her not letting him see his son?

Maybe if she actually used BC she wouldn't be in this situation and have a baby daddy drama to deal with. Or better yet, she could have closed her legs to prevent her from having a child out of wedlock.

Shoulda, Woulda, coulda are not doing a darn thing.

Kill this "father" now, then rip out the reproductive organ's of the mother. Justice shall then be served.

You're a Mean Drunk R2D2™
I have to say that your comment is the dumbest thing I've read in years. It's his fault. The courts are there for the dumb SH*Ts that won't take care of their children.

Anyone who thinks it's not the father's fault needs to stop smokin' crack... It's impairing your judgment, again...

I am so mad at this dude. I wish he would have just killed himself.  Instead he's gonna die in jail.  Neva mind he probably won't make it to trial.  And R2 who cares what the relationship is between the parents, NOTHING can justify his actions.  R2, u are a mean drunk!!

Tam, you and R2 can go have an ignorant A$$ conversation about this. you both seem to have the same low IQ level.

The bottom line is that an innocent child is gone. Whether it was too much pressure for the father or poor choices on the mothers part, the child is the one who suffered the ultimate penalty, let's not forget that! If society made fathers more responsible for their actions as did the Child Support Enforcement Agency in this case, more men would be less likely to have unprotected sex, or at least think twice before they did, and Maury Povich would not have a talk show.

"You know, maybe if the family courts actually gave the father full time or at least a 50/50 split of custody with the mom and didn't have to pay child support he wouldn't have done it. What part of "Dad had custody rights, The AP reports, but had never visited the boy until he allegedly picked him up to kill him." don't you understand???

Maybe if this psycho wasn't, well, such an evil psycho he wouldn't have done it. Maybe if he would have just owned up to the fact he made an irresponsible choice and dealt with his obligations like a man, this would have never happened.

Forget this blame game crap -- the bottom line is that this innocent little boy's life was ripped away from him all because his selfish, sorry, son-of-a-bitch sperm donor cared more about the money in his pocket than being a human being.

I hope he quickly gets exactly what's coming to him....

It breaks my heart when I hear stories like this. It would have been more honorable if he took his own life before he touch that child. What a coward.
