Lee’s Summit police are investigating an apparent homicide in which a woman was found shot to death after a domestic violence dispute.
About 8:45 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to the 1200 block of Southwest Sunflower Drive on a domestic violence call involving a gun.
When officers arrived, they found the woman deceased inside the front door of the residence, according to a release from Lee’s Summit police. A male resident, believed to be her husband, was taken into custody for questioning.

OMG!!! We know the 14 year old daughter....she goes to our school. We were good friends with her.... this is SOOOO horrible :(((( She was the sweetest person and so was her mom.... We LOVE YOU N.
