This happened to us once, with one of those candy-seller kids knocked on our door and we refused to answer. It was a mess!! I called the police line, and they had a hard time grasping what I was telling them.

I gathered that the cops did not take any evidence because it was not there when they arrived due to the homeowner having cleaned it up due to the smell.
