The Los Angeles Times has a nice feature about LAPD's John School -- a diversion program where johns learn the risk of consorting with prostitutes. (Sort of like traffic school, the paper notes!)
Ruditsky softens the men up with graphic photographs of swollen, disfigured faces of johns who had been set up by prostitutes to be beaten and robbed.
... Next up is a health worker's crash course in sexually transmitted diseases. Backs stiffen and knees bounce nervously as she projects stomach-turning images of infected penises. One man's eyes well up with tears during the next presenter's story of a man who died after contracting HIV. Loud applause breaks the heavy silence at the end.
Hat Tip: Many thanks, JUNGLE JIM!

Thank you, Sir, may I have another?

All this comes from the illegality of prostiution. Prostitution has been illegal for years and that law has not stopped it or the abuse within it.
It's time to end the March of Folly on prostitution. The March of Folly being "the perverse persistence in policies demonstrably unworkable and counterproductive"
I notice they dont show any "horrific pictures" from the legal brothels in Nevada.....know why? Because there aren't any. That doesn't happen there. Therefore, they dont have picture from it.

How about showing the guys what the girls look like in broad daylight when they're sober? That ought to bring some tears.
