Obama might undo "conscience exception" for health workers who refuse to help with abortions

Shortly before leaving office, the Bush administration enacted the policy, the New York Times reports:

The rule prohibits recipients of federal money from discriminating against doctors, nurses and other health care workers who refuse to perform or assist in abortions or sterilization procedures because of their "“religious beliefs or moral convictions."

The White House has filed notice that it's going to review the policy.
