The little girl's mother was found dead in her apartment near I-70 and Sterling Avenue this morning.
Police also are looking for the girl's father, Luis F. Corrales, who is a person of interest. An order of protection was filed against him in November, The Star reports.
The family’s car, a red 1999 Kia Sportage, with Missouri license plate PB1 R3R, is also missing.
