Undercover Mother

A group called Live Action is causing controversy in Arizona with its secret-camera investigations: The group sends adult women into local Planned Parenthoods, where they pose as teens who've gotten pregnant by older men. Their videos seem to show the staff being, uh, not particularly interested in the possibility the girls were sexually abused. (They're required by law to report such abuse.)

Planned Parenthood is defending itself by saying the tapes are highly edited, and they note the women involved are neither teenagers nor pregnant.s

You know how many teen girls hook up with "older" guys because they think it makes them cool and mature? I'm an army brat and probably half my graduating class was dating soldiers (which pissed off us teenage guys). If they want to start reporting ever incident to police, that town is going to get REALLY busy.

Marvin?

Anyway, I am not a fan of Planned Parenthood and I am not surprised that they don't care about abuse. Their chief concern is helping you abort a baby....if you want to.

If these girls had caused police reports to be filed, could they have been charged with conspiracy to file a false police report, since their intent was to fradulently induce such conduct?

Either way, it doesn't sound like they uncovered anything. PP amended their amended their practices in Arizona to better address child sexual abuse cases in AZ prior to the release of these videos, and seems to actually report cases of child sexual abuse on a regular basis there (24 cases in a 2 month period). I guess it just goes to show that some of these groups don't really care about the welfare of the children, so much as it is using whatever means they can to shut down clinics (i.e. fraud, and wasting LE resources). The founder stated that their primary goal was prosecution, not health or safety. If you can't outlaw the practice, use other laws to cause a denial of service.

So, let's see, we have adults going into Planned Parenthood alleging based upon their admittedly edited video where the stated purpose of the group is the criminal prosecution of Planned Parenthood. This is such balderdash. Rather than going in and see if in fact violations were occurring (investigation) they went in with a predetermined conclusion then edited their video to support that rather than being interested in anything so inconvenient as the truth.

And this idiot who founded this group of wonders why no charges have been filed. Could it be anything so prosaic as there was no crime committed? Also, who would ever believe these skanks were 15 years old?

Obviously, it is a much better idea to encourage a child to have a baby by an older man than to terminate the pregnancy, right? Or to force that choice by closing down PP? Or telling a kid that she is sending her boyfriend to prison as a child molester?

Sounds like this gal is an understudy for the Ann Couther Woman Hating Gig at Fox.

It's better to find who is impregnating these little girls. The group said they were interested "prosecution" hence stopping pedo's from screwing children. I can sure see how that would both folks to want to see that stopped and...Oh my gawd underage girls going in for a surgical procedure is not a big deal. *rolls eyes*

How asinine can you folks be. These are underage girls being knocked up by adult men. These are called crimes and it's good they have changed their procedures but that doesnt mean they haven't covered up these crimes in the past.

If someone robs a liquor store and then 2weeks later says they have changed their ways and don't rob liquor stores anymore. does this mean a crime wasn't committed? Nope not in the least.

If a woman wants to have a abortion then let her & stay the pluck out of her business. It has nothing to do with any of you or me.

If the anti abortion terrorist's would just start adopting more children from America.
Do any of you consider what would happen to all of these aborted feteus? If they were allowed to go full term?
We can not take care of the children alread here in America, add many many more. That doesn't sound like the best option either.

The multiple reports of suspected abuse, the unprompted review of its policies regarding disclosure of reporting of suspected abuse, and the fact that no convictions have been secured despite multiple prosecutions and crusades in several states support the position that Planned Parenthood is doing its part to stop and report suspected abuse of underage girls as well and meet all legal requirements on its services.

Shock and surprise that these members of the Joey Buttafuoco Speed-daters Club have to resort to manufactured and edited video.

"anti abortion terrorist's"

Sure Jewells . . . let's just kill em 'cause life would be harder for them (or us)

Jewwells, I really don't care if a woman wants to. I do care if children want to though.

Blarn--

Good point. It's none of my business what an adult does within the law. It's just creepy that a country that will not allow a minor girl to administer her own asthma medicine at school without written permission will help her get an abortion with few questions asked and no parental involvement.

Gee, it's not creepy it's friggen sick. It's a sick little game played by people who want to take parenting away from the parents then bitch when parents have no control of their children. It's just nonsense and as long as it's adults doing it I could give a rats ass. If it's a child then nothing should be done without the parents permission and if they are pregnant the someone needs to get to the bottom of who knocked her up.

Come on Kansas City, this is some of the most gullible, spoon-fed, unintelligent discourse I have seen in my life. Embarrassing, really.

In case you haven't figured out why your sound like idiots, here's why:

1) A shred of curious research will find that five of these clinics have been found doing the same thing, and full footage of most has been released.

2) So PP says they care about protecting women, and have conveniently changed there policyies since July. Like clapping monkeys lets believe this is all sincere.

3) If any of you are above age 14, please try to take your responsibility to look out for the well-being of children. If you saw a 13 year old girl standing next to a 31 year old man, and found out he was having sex with her, failing to cut his balls off will make you a worthless citizen and useless human being.

Um, it is our business. For one thing, we are paying for Planned Parenthood to carry out its slaughter, as they receive federal funding. Thank God that there were people that stood up to the horrific crimes that occurred during the Holocaust and slavery. We need to do the same with abortion, the mass killing of humans who happen to be "defective" or "incovenient." Abortion is EVERYONE's problem.

I did some research.

The scenarios these 2 girls ran were posing as 13 to 15 year olds and saying they were with 27 to 31 year olds...I say that is more than the girl dating someone 5 years older. That isn't just stat. rape...it's sexual abuse.

Take a look at the photos of these 'girls'. Anyone who thinks they are less that 18 y/o need to have their eyes examined. PP changed its policies before the actions of these zealots were published or became public to enhance their communication of their commitment to reporting sexual abuse to all people seeking services. This change had nothing to do with the actions of these zealots, but rather was done to increase the transparency of this organizations compliance with all laws regarding the services the organization provides.

What we have in this report is two women presuming that PP is not reporting sexual abuse, then editing videos to 'prove' their case. In fact PP does and has reported suspected abuse. Just because two idiots engage in lies and selectively edited videos only shows that they are liars and manipulators, not that they have proved any wrong doing by PP.

Funny how all of you believe the words and edited video provided by self-admitted liars over that of a group that has faced repeated investigation by hundreds of prosecutors and never been convicted of wrong-doing.

it's not up to planned parenthood to decide the age of someone. It's also not suprising they changed their policy since the most likely knew this was coming.

The video's show the people not giving a crap about these girls and whom impregnated them. They should have been reported immediately.

No self admitted liars. Planned parenthood has also been caught. They work off the gub'mit dime and need to be checked just like any other wasted gub'mit program.

These people in particular need to be in jail.

Heck yes the Anti's are terrorist's in every sense of the word.
Murder, kidnapping, shots fired, bombing, arson, mental & physical abuse. All acts committed by the Anti Abortion terrorist's.
Some of these same people's have attempted to cover up homosexual child abuse & offer foregivness for such act's.

Blarney -

Just like Kooky Kline and his Kristianist Krusade against PP here, where the same thing was alleged, there is no proof of wrong-doing. The 'girls' admit they lied about their age and that one of them was pregnant, hence self-admitted liars. They admit that the video is edited. They admit that the purpose for making the video was to prompt criminal charges, thus providing motive for both the lies and the selective editing.

Since these 'girls' refuse to post the unedited video, we have no way of knowing everything they were told or even if what is depicted is anything more than creative cutting and splicing of the video to make it seem as if the PP staff don't care about thee possible abuse.

Locally when Kline went through PP's files and cherry picked what he claimed were 109 instances of violations from those files, PP was acquitted on all charges. When similar zealots in Johnson County went to churches to get signatures on a petition to require the enpaneling of a Grand Jury to investigate PP, not only did the Grand Jury not find any grounds for charges, but criticized both the process than enpaneled the Grand Jury and the group that attempted to abuse the courts to pursue their agenda.

The videos were turned over to prosecutors and to police and no charges were filed. Why - because no crime was committed.

This is nothing more than a witch-hunt where the crime is already assumed to have happened and then all evidence that no crime occurred is ignored in favor of manipulated and manufactured evidence that something did happen.

Glad to see that all is once again right in the world. You are wrong - again and we disagree on an issue, a surer indication than a Garmin that I am on the right track.

"Heck yes the Anti's are terrorist's in every sense of the word"

So . . . someone who's religious convictions tell them that abortion is wrong (making them "Anti") is a terrorist? Again, I tend to take a more "middle of the road" approach on abortion--not entirely for, not entirely against. I do understand, though, that those who'd religious convictions make them against abortion can't just view abortion as a societal ill . . . they see it at murder, and are going to adamantly oppose it vs. just giving lip-service to their beliefs.

Anyone who commits violence against others is a criminal, but I'm always amused that pro-choice folks cite "Murder, kidnapping, shots fired, bombing, arson, mental & physical abuse . . . committed by the Anti Abortion terrorist's" when the reality is abortions happen quite frequently, every day, every minute, very easily with little to no inconvenience. The terrorists aren't very good at spreading the terror, apparently.

Mikey, so what they lied and gave PP information that they should have acted upon and they didn't. End of story. PP didn't care they were being told these girls were minors and impregnated by adults.

We know that PP changed it's practices miraculously before the video came out which they undoubtedly had knowledge of.

Quit bitching about kline. He has nothing to do with this and it just looks like you are ranting. Same thing with your Zealots talk. You don't even come across as rational when you do that.

Call it what you want but underaged girls said they were pregnant by adults and PP didn't care. That is a crime and they will come under the microscope more often because of this. It's run with public money and they should be under a microscope.

I'm not sure what I'm wrong about. You haven't pointed out anything I am wrong about you have just regurgitated your same pro-abortion rant again.

Gee reread what you wrote, doesn't it sound like a paragraph from Iran or Saudi?
You just clearly stated that the Muslim's bombing & shooting are not terrorist's.
I have yet to read a story of a pro-abortionist bombing a anti abortion center.
Check out the Troy newman site, the guy is a clear supporter of Eric Rudolff.
Then lets not even start with Randall Terry.

"You just clearly stated that the Muslim's bombing & shooting are not terrorist's."

Huh??

My only point (I always struggle with keeping it short and sweet) is it's hyperbole to cast anyone who's anti-abortion as a terrorist. Just as anti-abortion forces use propaganda, pro-abortion forces use propaganda to give the impression that the average abortion clinic is going to become a bomb crater any minute--that's not really true.

You claim PP knew about the video even though it was MONTHS later that the video was released and no information suggests they knew about the video before it was released. You assume that the deleted/edited portions of the video don't include counseling or information on sexual abuse without any evidence to support that assumption other than the claims of the producers who have a vested interest to hide video that contradicts their agenda to get criminal charges filed against PP.

By the way - nothing in the law requires PP to provide counseling about sexual abuse with the 'girls'; only that they report suspected abuse, which the dozens of referrals to state agencies regarding potential abuse show PP does.

You claim PP is violating the law - you are wrong. You claimed "No self admitted liars" - you are wrong.

My use of the Kline example is to show that what these 'girls' are doing is part and parcel of a pattern of prosecutorial persecution of PP by those who have a stated agenda to shut them down and/or have criminal charges filed against PP even though there is no evidence that PP is violating the law. You claim PP should be under the microscope because they take government money.

1)The government money they take is not used for abortion services.

2)As my use of the Kline example (as well as the Operation Rescue's failed attempt to have a Grand Jury investigate PP) show; PP has been put under the microscope time and time again with no findings of wrongdoing.

Your unending apologia for anti-abortionists and your inability to understand plain language and simple concepts just make you appear ridiculous.

Mikey you letting your little proabortion rants cloud your views here.

I never said anything about counseling. I said turning it over to police.

Yes there is a law that in case of sexual abuse PP is to turn over that info. It goes for any medical professional, teacher etc.

You are claiming PP didn't know about the filming. So you have nothing to hold yourself up on that one about hotrod. You want to try to say I am wrong about that while you talk out the other side of your neck? LOL!

You use Kline because you rant about him every chance you get. You are really eaten up on that issue.

public money funds PP that is all there is to it. You cannot say it doesn't go to abortion because the money is all comes from the same accounts to pay the bills.

Your unending tirade for abortion and your inability to understand plain language and simple concepts just make you appear ridiculous.

But please rant on some more while jumping onto Kline and zealots and blah blah blah. Make sure to throw in the word kneejerk a couple of times and paste someone elses thoughts as your own. It's just not a mikey post without that nonsense.

Guess what Blarney - it was turned over to the police. And guess what else - no charges were filed.

The funding, by law, that PP receives must be segregated from funds used for abortion services. So once again you are wrong.

So please, keep up your raving, because proving you wrong is so much fun.

so that doesn't mean nothing illegal happened.

You go ahead and show me how and where they seperate the funds.

Please keep raving, proving you wrong has gotten boring at this point.

They have already lost public funds in Orange county and has not been decided on these guys in Az yet. You are pre-emptive on trying to call yourself right(you spend so much time getting your ass handed to you though I can understand your slim hope).

LOS ANGELES, March 16 /Christian Newswire/ -- Undercover videos produced by Live Action Films were used to help strip Planned Parenthood of the $292,000 in taxpayer funds it received from Orange County, CA. The videos, part of the ongoing Mona Lisa Project, clearly show Planned Parenthood employees ignoring the sexual abuse of minors, which mandatory reporting laws require clinicians to report.

Mark Bucher, a local resident and board member of the Family Action PAC, saw the videos and decided to find out if Orange County gave taxpayer dollars to Planned Parenthood. Bucher proceeded to uncover an intricate money trail unknown even to the Orange County Board of Supervisors, and found that Planned Parenthood received funds through the Orange County Health Care Agency but was never identified as the recipient.

"The distribution of public funds to Planned Parenthood through the Orange County Health Care Agency appeared to be a deliberate cover-up since it was nearly impossible to detect where the money was going from the County to several different health clinics," said Bucher. "After watching the undercover videos from Live Action, it became clear to me that Planned Parenthood has a lot to hide."

Bucher sent one of the undercover videos to every Orange County Supervisor, and encouraged them to cut Planned Parenthood's Orange County subsidies. This week, the Orange County Board of Supervisors unanimously voted to end taxpayer subsidies to Planned Parenthood.

"Regardless of one's position on abortion, Planned Parenthood should not receive public funding because of their willingness to deliberately cover up sexual molestation and abuse. This 'non-profit' had a $115 million surplus last year, and certainly doesn't need a bailout from our community," continued Bucher.

Lila Rose, president of Live Action, is the UCLA student who went undercover in the videos to expose Planned Parenthood. She believes Mark Bucher has demonstrated a successful community model to be used across the country to end government subsidies to Planned Parenthood clinics.

"The undercover footage from the Mona Lisa Project continues to reveal a disturbing pattern in which Planned Parenthood repeatedly covers up the sexual abuse of minors," said Rose. "Planned Parenthood needs to be held accountable and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for harming young girls. It is my hope that others like Mark will investigate Parenthood in their local communities, and put a stop to the public funding."

"The valuable evidence from Live Action's investigations was crucial to de- funding Planned Parenthood in Orange County," concluded Bucher. "I'm grateful for the courage shown by Lila Rose and her group to bring to light the crimes committed inside Planned Parenthood's clinics."

"A prosecutor in our sex-crime bureau reviewed the recordings," said Mike Scerbo, a public-information officer with the Maricopa County Attorney's Office. "The videos are disturbing, but we cannot comment further on potential activities this office, or any other law-enforcement office, may take."

hmmmm mikey this is an exerpt from the article of the thread. It doesn't say they aren't filiing charges. You seem to spend a lot of time not telling the truth.

Mikey says this:

"Guess what Blarney - it was turned over to the police. And guess what else - no charges were filed."

But then the article says this:

""A prosecutor in our sex-crime bureau reviewed the recordings," said Mike Scerbo, a public-information officer with the Maricopa County Attorney's Office. "The videos are disturbing, but we cannot comment further on potential activities this office, or any other law-enforcement office, may take."

Which would mean though there are no charges now, they are leaving the door open for future charges and they do call the images disturbing. Mikey likes to get it wrong if it will help his argument.

Mikey claims that PP changed their practices months before the videos came out. The article doesn't say that, this is just mikey making things up.

The story also notes the lady in the video not following the law left PP.

Just to cap it off, mikey is up to his old tricks.

Does anyone really think Planned Parenthood gives a rat's patootie about reporting under age sexual abuse? It is in their best (financial) interests to clam up, say nothing and collect our federal tax dollars for performing the abortions. It is money out of their pocket by speaking up.

I have a real problem with our societies two faced position on the sanctity of life. A week or so ago, people were posting about taking vengeance out on anyone harming their child. But out of the other side of their face will condone/overlook/defend anyone who harms a child, in order to defend the act of killing a child. How perverse can we get?

Nemesis--

Careful there . . . Jewells will find out you're a terrorist.

Blarney once again doesn't understand the issue:

The story also notes the lady in the video not following the law left PP.

The law doesn't require staff to inform potential victims of abuse that PP is required to report suspected abuse. So it doesn't matter what the 'girls' were told; what matters is what happens. There is no evidence in the video that PP attempted to cover up sex abuse of underaged girls, merely that the 'girls' were told "I mean everything is confidential here, you know what I mean?" but even given the editing of the video it appears that this is in a session where the clinician is attempting to determine whether or not the 'girl' is being coerced into getting an abortion that the 'girl' doesn't want. She is told she should discuss this further with other staff and will have to complete an application for a judicial waiver if she doesn't want her parents involved. So the context is informing the 'girl' of what she must do to legally obtain the abortion under Arizona law, while also clumsily explaining to her about medical confidentiality.

Blarney also quotes one passage from a Maricopa County Attorney's office but neglects to note the following passage from the article -

No investigation

Planned Parenthood Arizona is not under investigation by the Arizona attorney general or Maricopa or Pima counties' attorneys.

Rose is disappointed that there are no criminal investigations under way by any law-enforcement agencies.

.

Blarney says

Mikey claims that PP changed their practices months before the videos came out. The article doesn't say that, this is just mikey making things up.

In making this claim, he ignores the part of the article that says

Procedures have changed since the video was recorded last July. The changes were put into place before Live Action started posting their videos. Now, clinicians are trained in how to talk to all patients.

Also, young women or girls who appear to possibly be victims of a crime are told upfront that Planned Parenthood has a legal obligation to share any suspicions to law-enforcement authorities.

Since the first video posted by Live Action was posted on December 3, 2009 ((Bloomington) and the Arizona videos were not posted until February 3, 2009 (Tuscon) and March 24, 2009 (Phoenix), that qualifies as months before the videos came out. 2 months to be exact.

So once again, we have Blarney making stuff up and/or deliberately misconstruing the facts to try to prop up his failing claims.

For someone who claims repeatedly that he hates being right all the time, he sure got relief from that on this thread.

You only show when the videos came out. LOL! Keep up the good work. You are just doing it to yourself again mikey.

I am tired of being right and I'm tired of cleaning your clock everytime you try to flew your blog muscle. It just gets you laughed at.

Blarney, I do try to avoid wars of the wits with you because I hate fighting an unarmed man.

Yes, it's a retread, but you aren't worth original material.

ah back to insults. It's always so obvious when you get your ass handed to you.

Good job mikey you have again shown yourself lacking the ability to have a discussion, create your own thoughts or just be man enough to shut up when you are wrong.

People like you are so lucky you get to hide behind computers. Anyone who reads this will see what an asshat you made of yourself so pat yourself on the back because nobody else will.

Hi all. Any transition serious enough to alter your definition of self will require not just small adjustments in your way of living and thinking but a full-on metamorphosis.
I am from Faso and know bad English, tell me right I wrote the following sentence: "Find women alcohol abuse treatment program, alcohol abuse treatment aftercare, family recovery program and many more treatment for women healthy living at.Com, the new website, which centers on helping tim."

Thanks for the help ;-), Hezekiah.
