Wichita police horse scared by 5-foot-long inflatable penis

Wichita police arrested three people on Sunday in an incident that began when a man threw an inflatable penis at an officer's horse.

Officers were patrolling the Old Town area on horseback at about 1:20 a.m. when they came across a large group of women in their early- to mid-20s who had been celebrating at a bachelorette party, police said.

Also in the group was a 24-year-old man, a brother to one of the women at the party. He was carrying a 5-foot-long inflatable penis, police said.

"While he was joking around with this toy, he launched this large toy toward one of our officers, who was on horseback," police spokesman Gordon Bassham said.

The toy struck the officer's horse, causing the horse to get spooked, he said.

Police arrested the man, of Eastborough, on suspicion of battery of a law enforcement officer, in this case, the horse.

My Story...
Ok, so I had met this bachelorette party earlier in the night…nice girls and out for a good time…that was about 10pm that night…about 1230pm I saw them leaving the club and all were in good spirits…not like some parties I’ve seen where the girls end up carrying the bachlorette to her car because she drank so much. They were parting ways by the down town bathrooms. Some of the girls were going to a hotel and the other were going to their cars and going home. I NEVER DID see these guys “throw” the 5 ft dick at the cops…truth be told it’d take a lot to do so because not only was it 5ft tall but it was about 2 and a half ft around…no easy task to pick up and throw this thing.
Anyway I see the girls parting ways and it looks like something did spook the horse. The cops start throwing people against the cop cars and the female cop who was one of two on horses told her horse to charge forward after a few of the ladies didn’t leave right away due to them asking why their friends were bring arrested. The woman who got stepped on was only about a foot or two away from the outside bathroom wall with the horse in front of her. When the cop told her horse to charge the horse went forward as much as it could. There was NO WAY the woman could move one way or another and she put her arms in front of her face to hide like one would from a scary movie. The horse ended up stepping on her foot and breaking two of her toes.
After about an hour and a half of the cops dealing with this we were getting ready to leave Old Town and call it a night when I noticed that this chick was still by the bathrooms and now all alone. I thought it was messed up from what I saw and the fact she was still there be her self. I went over and started talking to her and she broke down and just started crying and telling me what happened. She said they were leaving and some dudes walking by throw some trash or something at the horses and that’s what spooked them…not the girls, the party or the penis…she told me a lot of what I’d seen already and added that some of the cops were laughing about it behind her back but she could still hear them. The cops also refused to give her the names and police badge numbers for a long time. They finally gave in and she showed me the paper with their names and numbers. All I could think about is how the whole thing could have been dealt with differently
