NYPD officer killed by fellow cop

What a tragic story. The officer who was killed had just gotten off his shift and was in plainclothes when he spotted someone breaking into his car. He started chasing the thief on foot. Some other police were patroling the area -- they ended up chasing the two of them and shooting the officer, Omar Edwards.

Hat Tip: Many thanks, Tam and Keith G in PV!
