From Christine: A robber beat an 88-year-old woman in her Kansas City home this afternoon, leaving her with a possible broken arm, a concussion and wounds that required 12 stitches to close.
The attack occurred about 5:30 p.m. near West 89th Street and Belleview Avenue. The woman was on her patio, spraying for ants, when a car pulled into her driveway. The woman went into her house and opened her garage door, thinking she might know the person in the car. MORE
