From Christine Vendel: Police are looking for whoever killed Martin Cortes, 50, in his apartment last week in the 800 block of Cypress Avenue.
A relative found Cortes’ body on the living room floor about 5:15 p.m. on May 22. Cortes’ daughter last talked to him May 20. Cortes, a handyman, had not shown up for work May 21 or 22. Police did not release the cause of death or any suspect or motive information.
