His condition is such that he can't really take care of himself, so he shouldn't have been able to sign the necessary enlistment papers in the first place. HE EVEN TOLD THE MARINES THAT HE WAS AUTISTIC. Still, he managed to graduate from boot camp in San Diego. He was arrested on AWOL and child-porn charges during infantry training.

They made "Paul Blart" -- essentially "Die Hard" with the King of Queens guy in the title role. Why can't they do the same thing with "Stripes" and this guy?

He probably said "I'm Autistic" and they replied with "there are some marines that like to draw pictures and stuff, being artistic doesn't keep you out of the marines"
