Prairie Village man tried to put a hit on his ex-roomie's new BF

Doby S. McClellan, 29, is facing federal charges, Mark Morris reports. McClellan allegedly wanted a hitman to kill his ex-roommate's new boyfriend so he could get back with the woman, whom he considered his ex-girlfriend. The would-be hitman contacted the authorities instead, prosecutors say.

The ex-roommate and her new man accuse McClellan of harassing them. They say he planted weed in the boyfriend's truck, then called police.
