Douglas County plans DUI checkpoint, saturation patrol for Friday

From the Douglas County Sheriff's Office: The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office will conduct Saturation Traffic Patrols and a D.W.I. Check Lane the evening of Friday July 17, 2009.

Sheriff’s deputies will be out in force from 7:00 P.M. Friday and into the early morning hours of Saturday. They will be monitoring compliance with all Kansas traffic laws and targeting speeding, impaired driving, seat belt and child restraint use.
