Even more shocking? This allegedly at New York's historic Waldorf-Astoria. There was indeed a used tampon hidden in the man's steak, but it's not clear if this was an actual attack on him or one of the many, many cases of ginned-up lawsuits over tampered food. The hotel says it's investigating, but suspects shenanigans on someone's part.

Now you now why I only but direct from a butcher. Buy at least a half cow directly from the butcher, no preservatives, no draining needed, cooks very evenly, and tests REALLY good.
