Not really crime-related, just sort of a footnote to the George Tiller homicide: Dr. LeRoy Carhart of Nebraska, who sometimes practiced at Tiller's clinic, says he plans to open a location somewhere in Kansas. His preference is Wichita.

I'd agree it's not really crime-related. Could have framed it differently and posted it in Health News. Seems inflammatory to post it here. Does The Star have a Health blog?

Wonder how close to the old Tiller clinic he will be?
Since Tiller's family is shutting down that one.
Get ready Wichita.

SC: We don't have a health blog. No offense, but how would you have worded it?

Would it be just as unethical to start a pool on when the first pot-shot is taken at this so-called health clinic?

Not anymore than a pool on the august death toll in kc.. and we were willing to go there. LOL

Late-term abortion is illegal so it would be a crime. If what he does is not "late-term", then dont call it that.

Who put you in charge six pack?

Searching, do you think I made late-term abortion a crime?
Bush rammed that through. It is a federal crime.

Not quite. It is still governed by Kansas law, and subject to some -- but not all -- supreme court decisions. It can -- and is -- very restricted.
