Speed and teens, a deadly combo

From 2006 to 2008, 15 to 17-year-old drivers were to blame in 61,784 traffic crashes that resulted in 27,838 injured and 212 people killed on Ohio roadways.

Speed was a factor in 58 percent of those crashes, an Ohio State Highway Patrol study found.
