And that's a major factor in fatal drunken-driving crashes, experts say. What constitutes a "binge drinker"?
Here's a CDC fact sheet on binge drinking. The researchers focused on 14,000 "binge drinkers " - people who said that at least once month that they had five or more drinks on a single occasion. About 12 percent said they had gone driving within two hours of their last bout of heavy drinking.

So if you have 5 or more drinks on a daily basis you're not a binge drinker just an alcoholic? What if you don't drink but on special occasions and you have 5 lite beers and weigh 250lbs does it matter?

Let's make binge drinking illegal.

I used to have more than 5 drinks in an evening sometimes. But, then I bought some REALLY BIG glasses, so now I can keep it under 4 before passing out.
Thanks goodness I dodged that "binge drinker" label.
But, I do have strict rules about driving or cooking after drinking. Nothing spoils a good buzz like somebody getting killed.

You should get a bucket like I have. I'm down to one jack and coke a night.

Great; so now we are being called on for further tax funds so big brother can watch over us in resturants and pubs. Of course, its for our own good, right?
