From Joe Lambe: A man in Leavenworth was shot multiple times this morning in a home invasion attack. The man wounded in the attack about 10 a.m. on the 2000 block of Broadway Street is in the hospital and one man is in custody, police said. They are looking for two other suspects, they said.

A couple of weeks ago I fell asleep on the sofa while watching TV. The sofa is about 5' from the front door. About 2 a.m. I awoke to my dog barking because someone was beating on my front door, trying to get in with all their might.
I have to admit, I was scared to death but also comforted by the fact that I knew they couldn't get in as I have my doors protected with a Door Security Pro Door Security Guard. Definitely a very frightening experience and a real wake-up call as to how scary things can get.
