From Sara Shepherd: Police are looking for four men who barged into an east Kansas City bar Thursday night, ordered everyone to the floor and shot one of the patrons in the chest. According to a police report, the suspects showed up at the 2400 Club, 4820 E. 24th St., about 10:30 p.m.
Witnesses told police the men yelled “Everyone get down!” and then one headed toward the victim with a long gun and fired several rounds. They stole a woman’s purse before running out.
The shooting victim was taken to a hospital. His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. A complete description of the suspects was not available.
