In Columbus, Ohio, an armed man burst into a motel room and demanded money from the six people inside. He didn't get a dime because a great-grandmother, age 70, pulled her .357-caliber handgun from her purse and shot the man, who was wanted in St. Louis County, right in the chest. He died in the parking lot. Authorities don't plan to file charges against the woman, possibly because they are terrified of her.
Hat Tip: Many thanks, cripjak!

Thanks for the "hat tip" James. I thought some of the more dedicated readers of this blog would get a chuckle out of this.

Someone should give him CPR!
Uh, I'M not giving him CPR!
Does anyone know how to do mouth-to-mouth resuscitation?
Not me! Me neither, nice shot, Granny, you centered him up good!

"If you're going to shoot, shoot to kill."
No. You shoot to stop the threat. Once the threat ends, you stop shooting.
And no, this is not a matter of semantics, according to the law.
