Iowa mom on trial for 2-year-old's murder

Kehoe

In Grundy Center, Iowa, a woman named Michelle Kehoe is accused of killing her 2-year-old son, Seth, and trying to murder her older son, age 7, before she cut her own throat. Prosecutors say Kehoe told authorities that a strange man attacked her family in an isolated wooded area back in 2008. But authorities allege Kehoe planned the murders.

Only the older son, Sean, lived and pulled the duct tape off his eyes in time to see his mother killing his baby brother, the prosecutors said:

A recording from Smith's patrol vehicle was played for the jury, though much of it was hard to understand. "Who hurt your brother?" Smith asked.

"My mom," Sean replied.

Later, Smith asked Sean who hurt him. "Your mommy hurt you?" he asked.

"Yes," Sean replied.

Rescuers found a first-aid kit near the little boy's body. His brother had tried -- and failed -- to save him. (Possibly while their mother went to a nearby house.) Kehoe allegedly left a note at the scene, detailing the attack, but police say it was a fake.

Here's an old CNN piece about the case. Apparently, the year before this all happened, a group of strangers had rescued Kehoe and her boys from an icy river.

Wonder if she is connected to Chevy Kehoe, the Aryan guy.

So, do they think that she was trying to kill herself and the kids by driving her car into icy waters?

Will i get into trouble for mentioning how scary she looks?

I honestly thought it was a feminine male in that picture.

wowza.

They should have let her drown, but save the kids last year.
