The story is from Troy, Mo., where school officials reported a girl who created a Web site specifically to bully another girl. (The site had photos, nasty language and a poll about the girl, the Post-Dispatch reports.) Authorities arrested her, but it's not clear if the ninth-grader will definitely face criminal charges yet.

I wonder on things like this: What was tried BEFORE involving the authorities? I mean, if my kid did this, I'd have it handled.
She'd be off the internet, tv, stereo, whatever. She'd be carrying that other girl's books, doing the girl's laundry, cleaning her dog's poop out of the yard, covering her with an umbrella in the rain, AND doing chores at home to earn the money to by the other girl a nice gift.No DA would be necessary.
But, maybe this chick's parents didn't want to do any of that so it got ridiculous.

People in Troy are idiots. I'm glad I got out. This kind of thing doesn't surprise me a bit.
