Good morning, Mr. Abbott and fellow Costellos. My sympathy goes out to Bob Cronkleton, forced to end the week trying to herd this gang of cats.

Not all criminal, but noteworthy: Soupy Sales has died. The zaney, "Robin-Williams-for-kids" once asked youngsters to go through their parents’ clothing and send him the little green pieces of paper with pictures of men with beards. (Was he an inspiration to Bernie Madoff?)

Good Morning, Keith and all to follow. It is Friday... thank god.

Good morning, Searching. It's Good Friday here (bi-weekly pay day.)

The Star carries a story on page 2 this morning of a teen in the 'burbs of Buffalo who put ketchup on his arms and faked his suicide on a live video Web site. The po' got several calls about it, and tracked him down. Now they've charged him with one third-degree count of falsely reporting an incident.

Huh? What did he report? Boy, those cops better stay away from magic shows. They'll be writing tickets for hours.

Good Morning Everyone!

Question of the Day:

What to make for dinner? Chicken Noodles or Chili

Good morning, all.

San Francisco police link 'Night Stalker' Richard Ramirez to girl's 1984 slaying. San Francisco police announced Thursday that DNA evidence had linked Richard Ramirez, the Southern California serial killer known as the "Night Stalker," to the 1984 slaying of a 9-year-old girl.

The unsolved case of the young girl's killing was reopened five years ago when Police Inspector Holly Pera recalled it from her days as a young patrol officer.

"That's part of the reason why the case was relooked at," Pera said during a news conference. "It's the type of case -- as a new officer, a case involving a little girl -- that you can't forget."

Good Morning America just reported a major oil refinery fire in Puerto Rico so go fill up your tanks b4 they raise the price of gas.

That guy is just Evil looking

Why cant you make both? Then you dont have to cook all weekend.

I am not cooking all weekend. We have dinner with friends tonight and a big crappie fry tomorrow night, and we can just eat sandwiches on Sunday.

When you don't agree with the law, don't get mad. Get dressed...
Two South Florida guys invent faux underwear to circumvent Opa-locka's ban on saggy pants.

House Republican Conference Chairman Mike Pence (R-Ind.): "Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck speak for many Americans"

That's true, just not the ones that are sane

This is what happens when you try to force someone, who really doesnt want to, quit smoking cigarettes.. Obama is rumored to be up to 2 packs a day.

Hope he is enjoying that big fat tax he put on them.

Insurance companies tell woman rape is a "pre-existing" condition when denying coverage.

So to my friends in the so-called ‘mainstream media’ I say, ‘conservative talk show hosts may not speak for everybody but they speak for more Americans than you do.’”

This is the only thing in that article that I found that even references the title. And the fact is that with the constant bias for holding Obama in savior mode that we get from MSM.. he is really not that wrong.

And I cant stand Rush or Beck.
Then they also throw the Tea party crowd into the mix. So this is basically, Nixon's enemies list.. all over again. Every President and his administration have had people screaming criticism.

Let's just face it. The current administration doesn't like any criticism. And with so much of it coming at them. It must be deafening.

Good morning, Jane and Jungle Jim. I'd make chili myself, Jane...except I made 16 doses last weekend.

"I may not know much about art, but I know what I like." Or should I think, "Expose yourself to art"? In either case, click here and scroll down to the last picture.

They didn't tell her rape is a pre-existing condition. They told her, her history of taking HIV medication was pre-existing. She didn't explain the whole rape thing, until after the denial.

and they were wrong to do so. There has never been any proof that she contracted HIV at all. There was never any reasonable sign that she had HIV that she should have followed up on and didn't.

I used to investigate pre-existing conditions and the reasons they denied are against the rules for declaring a pre-existing condition. In missouri anyway, I dont know about where she is.

Good morning Keith, Search, Jane, JUNGLE, and all to follow.

Late start here for me today. Been REALLY busy this morning.

Good Friday though because I have NOTHING planned for the weekend right now. Golf, yes, but other than that, not much, just breathing.

Keith, I would think a dude would Love that work of art.

What can I say? Chinese are VERY bored.

Good morning, guys!

Hey James!

Good morning James!!

Searching, this is nothing like what Nixon did. Once you have proof of Obama trying to stage the death of someone in the media like Nixon tried to do, then you can say that.

And I love how he's marginalizing the GOP right now by that statement. Fox News hasn't been an objective news source, in well, even. (And for the record, outside of NPR and PBS, there isn't much unbiased news out there in the US. But the others at least don't sponsor and herald the Tea Party movement like Fox has done.)

Searching, actually I read another story where a woman was denied coverage because she was raped later in life and they didn't want to pay for another rape kit for her. Like she was "asking for it". It had nothing to do with medication.

And actually, I'm trying to get low cost catastrophic insurance and have been denied twice now because of my height and weight and that I have sleep apnea. I can't even pay these pricks and I rarely ever go to the doctor.

I am about to get a long term care policy started for myself in the next couple of weeks myself.

So far, all is good so far.

Thanks for your story, R2. I hope that you have written to your elected representatives. IMHO, the health care debate needs more information from people who have actual experiences to share, and less yelling from people who are just talking out of ther you know what.

Good morning James and the gang, soon to be Bob and the bunch.

YOU LIE RHONDA!

R2.. I flat out stated that denying for this reason is wrong. All the rules, I ever learned about pre-existing, it was not allowed, and frankly unethical.
As far as Nixon goes. An enemies list is an enemies list.. no matter what package you wrap it in.

As for Rhonda's statement. I totally agree that there needs to be health care reform. But to rush something through the system, just to be able to claim that something was done on any platform, for political gain is irresponsible.

The way they are going about all of this is irresponsible. He wants this rushed through, just to say he got something through, because he is not getting anything like this accomplished, once the campaign year starts.. and he knows it.

No matter how loyal they are to the President, They will be far to busy keeping their jobs next year, to pass ANY expensive package, and take the chance that a bunch of voters wont agree with them.

and I would also like a link to the story of some denied solely on the premise of a rape kit. Until then it is urban myth.

Is moobs a pre-existing condition?

Only if you flash them to everyone.

I believe what R2 is talking about is rape victim’s treatment and rape kits whereas some insurance will not pay for either. Most states will pay for the rape kits to be done and some of the hospital bill.

Sarah Palin got into some hot water for trying to charge rape victims for their own rape kits saying it was too much of a burden on tax payers. I guess rape victims don’t pay taxes?

'Morning Golfer and James and R2 and rhonda and Pat.

Here's a woman I can support: Denver Public School secretary accused of putting duct tape over an unruly 6-year-old's mouth and taping his wrists together. I've got no problem with that, assuming the kid wouldn't behave or isn't autistic due to vaccines containing thimerosal. (end snarky comment)

No Jane, they passed. LOL

With flying colors I might add. LOL

I believe the only vaccines that contain thimerosal now are flu.

That's good Golfer! I was worried there.

Hi'ya Keith.

Snarkiness noted.

I believe the only vaccines that contain thimerosal now are flu.

Heeeheee.. still giggling at that one.. way to start it up Jane!

I try Search.

Search-I added a wee bit more humor to the home invasion article.

Its the perfect parting shot.[pun font off]

I hate WebEx's plus conference calls.

lol

Billie Holiday sang "God bless the child" 1941:

Them thats got shall get
Them thats not shall lose
So the Bible said and it still is news
Mama may have, papa may have
But God bless the child thats got his own
Thats got his own
In Colorado, you can buy the Tesla Roadster ($109,900) and the state will give you a $42,083 tax credit. But only thru Dec. 31.

LOL? Little ol' leper?

Pic is blocked at work, have to check it out later.

I feel all the energy in my body being drained by this conference call.

R2, Public Option will not fix what you are experiencing with the crappy Insurance industry.

We need reform.

Insurance companies must drop the pre-existing conditions.

They need to open up states for competition.

We need to cap lawsuits and protect doctors and hospitals from fraudulent lawsuits.

...more items can be added but you see where I am headed...

Wonder which members of congress have stock in Tesla Roadsters?

The same one that add fine print to legislation.

Kansas has a cap on lawsuits and I think Missouri just enacted a cap.

All the doctors in KCMO are were moving offices to KS offices for a while.

Got my new garage door openers installed yesterday and they are SOOOOOO quiet.

Quieter than church.
