From Matt Campbell: Kansas City police are investigating a reported shooting about 3 p.m. today in the 1800 block of East 78th Street. An unidentified male victim was driven to a nearby hospital. His condition was not immediately known. Police were searching for a suspect with a gun seen running westbound at 79th Street and Brooklyn Avenue.
