CBS reports that the devout Muslim man and U.S. Army psychiatrist accused of killing 13 people at Fort Hood last week liked to indulge in lap dances during visits to a local strip joint. From a club manager:
"The last time he was here, I remember checking his military ID at the door, and he paid his $15 cover and stayed for six or seven hours."

"Fort hood shooter enjoyed strippers" Who doesn't
Posted by: killemall | Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 10:26 AM
Not exactly 72 virgins.
Posted by: Brad | Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 10:38 AM
72 of them at once, all claiming to be virgins.
Funny how freedom of religion in the eyes of a muslim, only applies to "them".

Wow, they must have looked pretty holy...

If he enjoyed strippers, I don't think you can classify him as a devout Muslim. He was just a psycho who wanted people to THINK he was a devout Muslim.

Ft. Hood jihadist shooter Hasan had communicated 10 to 20 times with Anwar al-Awlaki, an imam released from a Yemeni jail last year who has used his personal Web site to encourage Muslims across the world to kill U.S. troops in Iraq. Despite that, no formal investigation was opened into Hasan, and the FBI’s assessment of Hassan in December was that he posed no threat, after Hasan stated publicly to military personnel that non-Muslims should be set on fire, or beheaded, and boiling oil poured down their throats.
A classmate of Hasan, a radical Muslim educated by the U.S. military, said that the warning signs were all there — the justification of homicide bombings; spewing anti-American hatred; efforts to reach out to Al Qaeda — but that the military treated Hasan with kid gloves, even after giving him a poor performance review.
The FBI plans to reassess the way it investigates dangerous, extremist Muslim jihadists that infiltrate our military during a time of global war against Muslim terrorism.
The FBI, CIA, and all our military leadership had also better reassess their approach to protecting and defending our borders and national security in time of war.
Meanwhile, who’s going to apologize to our surviving Ft. Hood troops, and the anguished family and friends of those shot down, for deliberately dropping our guard in pursuit of a false military goal of diversity?
And why is Anwar al-Awlaki still alive? He is presently using the Internet to encourage Muslims in U.S. military ranks to follow in Hasan’s footsteps.
Meanwhile, Muslims in our prisons are forcing young black inmates into Muslim jihadist training.

Wow, I and a lot of people I know enjoy strippers yet somehow we don't go out shooting people.
Come up with a real story
Posted by: Fenris | Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 11:47 AM
I don't enjoy strippers and I have a little list.

Ferris,
I think the article is more about this guy's religious hypocrisy (claiming to be a devout muslim), and less about the strippers as to how it relates to the heinous act he committed.

I hope the Obama administrations comes out and apologizes to all of our soldiers. The fact that they knew about this individual and did nothing, shows the contempt and disgust they harbor for our soldiers lives. To Obama and his administration they are nothing more than pawns and I find that to be disgusting and treasonous on the part of a man who swore to protect us and be their commander in chief.

How many evangelical ministers have been caught with strippers and prostitutes? I can think of one in Colorado who was busted doing meth and laying with a male prostitute. I guess none of them are 'real' Christians.
What's the point here?

Be ready for post-traumatic stripper syndrome defense as the strippers had to hear about how he had to hear about what was happening in Iraq and Afghanistan. It will only be due to the post-traumatic stripper syndrome, MSNBC will say, that one of them commits a violent act, thus putting the blame back on the Bush administration.

This is getting funny. The Religious leader, awaki, the ft hood nutter called was detained by the CIA in saudi owned Yemen several years ago and let go, ie he has been cooperating. He was from the falls church (langley cia) mosque funded by the saudis (who hate Muslims more than Israel). another rad. muslim yousef al khatab applauding now turns out to be an israeli jew after all. What a joke.

Posted by: Stifled Freedom | Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 03:20 PM
I mean religion and hypocrisy go hand-in-hand. We know that.
Posted by: Stifled Freedom | Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 03:26 PM
so am I not to enjoy strippers now?

EsqEB... By Parkay's own words, and we all know how right wing Parkay is, this stuff was all happening LAST YEAR. If I recall correctly, George Bush was still the president last year. So apparently he did nothing about it, am I right? Which means by your logic he also has disregard and disgust for our troops and he also owes them an apology. Just sayin'.

And blah, blah blah. At some point in time we are all hypocrites. Now as to finding 72 virgins in the hereafter. That's a different issue. The idea of strippers being virgins is marginal at best. I sense there might have been some self-pleasure there while doing his "research." Allah be praised.
While I think of it, get off Parkays ass. Although some might see him as midguided others might see him as the "true Messiah."

Yeah, aqua.. I think this guy has blown the buzz for everyone.
as far as Christians and hypocrisy. Yeah, we have sinner at our church too... we just all sit together.

This just in...Hasan's favorite color is blue...And he likes puppies and long walks on the beach...
Mohammed Atta lived with a stripper on Florida before he disappeared in 2001. He also drank alchohol and snorted coke. He is said to have died in a plane crash. Maybe the focus should be on the influence of strippers instead of Islam.
If the idea is to find a way to prevent this sort of event, maybe ending the military occupation of two Islamic countries will help.

"he paid his $15 cover and stayed for six or seven hours."
A warm-up for spending eternity with 72 virgins?
