This gentleman is accused of repeatedly calling 911 for, well, sex because he'd run out of cellphone minutes and couldn't reach anybody else, authorities in Hillsborough County, Fla., allege. Your comment reminded me of one of my favorite moments in radio. U.S. Representative, and then candidate for the Democratic nomination for President, Dennis Kucinich participated in an NPR broadcast, radio-only debate in Iowa during the 2004 campaign. He brought visual aids to use during the debate.
In the words of the Neil Conan, the host and moderator: "Congressman Kucinich is holding up a pie chart, which is not truly effective on the radio."
