How many drivers got ticketed over Thanksgiving?

During last week's special Thanksgiving traffic enforcement, Shawnee says that its officers on saturation patrol wrote 16 seatbelt tickets, another 13 for speeding and 44 for various other violations.

Overland Park, meanwhile, provided the following stats:

  • 212.5- Hours worked
  • 430 - Vehicles stopped
  • 227 - Speeding violations
  • 117 - Seat belts (18+)
  • 11 - Safety Belts (14-17)
  • 0 - Safety Belts (8-13)
  • 1 - Booster Seats (4-7)
  • 0 - Child Seats (0-3)
  • 73 - Hazardous Moving
  • 116 - Other Violations
  • 2 - DUI Arrests
  • 0 - TOC Arrest
  • 3 - Warrant Arrests
  • 4 - Other Arrests
