Olathe plans Amnesty Day for municipal warrants

It'll be next week, from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10 in Olathe's municipal court. Anybody with an Olathe municipal warrant will NOT be arrested. The full details are available below ...

From Olathe PD: The City of Olathe Municipal Court is conducting an Amnesty Day on Tuesday, November 10th from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

-Those who appear in the Olathe Municpal Court during this time will not be arrested on warrants issued through the Olathe Municipal Court.

-All non-paid warrant fees will be waived for those prepared to pay all fines, fees and costs on this date.

-Consideration of partial payments and payment plans will be at the discretion of the Judge and/or Prosecutor.

-If payment plans are agreed to, all non-paid warrant fees will be waived upon payment in full. If one payment is missed, warrant fees will be reinstated.

Those individuals with active Olathe Municpal warrants are encouraged to take advantage of this limited opportunity for amnesty. The Municpal Court Judge, Prosecutors and court staff will be available to assist those looking to resolve their case(s).
