Plea deal in scuffle at Mo. Wal-Mart

Heather Ellis was accused of assaulting police officers when they arrested her at a Wal-Mart in Kennett, Mo., a felony rap that could have potentially carried a 15-year sentence. But the prosecution and defense were able to reach a plea deal. Ellis, who argued that she was the victim of racial discrimination, pleaded guilty to resisting arrest and disturbing the peace. She's getting four days of shock time, followed by a year of probation. She's also going to do two hours of anger management.

It must have been some pretty damning testimony, to have her turn around and decide to take the plea deal. But with the reports of her behaviour.. is two hours, really enough?

AMAZING. If I hit a couple cops I'd be doing 2-5 years at least. She got off too easy. The only reason she's NOT doing 2-5 is the media attention, and the rights groups whom were suckered into believing it was a race issue. As we know now, It wasnt. Just some lady having a fit in the checkout line, whom happened to call everyone in the store, customers, employees, and even the cops "racist deragatory terms", according to the police report. She was the racist here, and she got off almost scott-free. Shameful. It should be a crime to play the race card unecessarily, causing so much pain and tension in the community. Effectively riling up every skinhead and black panther for a hundred miles, for nothing but your own UNTRUE accusations. Again, shameful.

Seems to me she pissed everyone in the whole area off. I would say that she is the racist. I get tired of hearing it. If she hadn't cut in line there would have been no problem. Get a clue !
