That's not true, they hung the guy they felt responsible for the poison in the pet food.

It wasn't just tainted pet food that was imported. There was also livestock food that was spiked with melamine that made it's way into the human food chain. There were a number of people who got sick from that.
As far as I know, there were no executions in that matter. There were also no executions when the babies went into comas and a couple died from the poisoned beads.
