"The Home Depot of stolen property"

From Glenn Rice: Clay County authorities today discovered acres of stolen items including pickups, light farm equipment, vehicles and six railroad containers, one of which was filled with unopened appliances at a residence in Missouri City.

Sheriff Bob Boydston called the scene, “the Home Depot of stolen property.” A woman at the residence was arrested and deputies are guarding the property overnight. They also are looking for a man seen fleeing the property shortly after they arrived.

" Deputies went into the house but fled when they learned that a three-and-half-foot python was inside."

ROFL....That's a baby snake. What a bunch of pantywaisted wussie girly men. Oh wait, maybe it was a woman cops......

KSHB is reporting that this all began because a dog was chasing a goat and the neighbor called to complain. Not keeping your goat penned can have dire consequences....

A little inaccurate reporting on the snake. It was actually 3 1/2 feet in diameter.

I burst out laughing when I read that the cops fled from a snake. A 3 1/2 foot snake. That's a baby snake. I was a little girl of 9 or 10 and I was catching king snakes and black snakes up to 5 and 6 feet long with my mom in Maryland. They do bite but only if you're careless... Here in KCK they call me the Snake Lady. I catch snakes for free for my neighbors, mostly garter snakes but the occasional black snake too. I remove them to safe locations so no one will harm them and no one will have a heart attack from being scared of them. I'll catch copperheads and rattlers if they present themselves but in 3 years here I haven't seen one. I used to catch rattlers and bull snakes in Wyoming but it's been a few years. I've never killed a snake, it's not necessary, they are entirely beneficial. Poor snake! :)
