I thought it was for every woman I went to high school with to invite me to farmville and send pictures every time their kid farts.

How do they know it was the kid that posted it?

Searching,

As the prosecutor said - this is a 19 year-old kid, not "Dr. Evil". There were people at the apartment at the time when he was online as well who testified to that, so the corroboration of the Facebook update simply bolstered statements by other witnesses.

But not to worry, this kid isn't going anywhere. While he may not have committed this crime, he is still facing charges in a separate robbery.
