The kids who did this have NO idea how painful burns are. My exhusband was burned in an explosion and had burns over 45% of his body, most 1st and 2nd but some 3rd degree burns too. They gave him a 50-50 chance of survival at that time. It was a long hard process until he recovered. VERY painful too. If this boy survives, he will have some horrible scars and will go through many surgeries throughout his life most likely. I wish those kids could feel this pain at least once.

Jeano: I have a cousin who went through a serious burn episode when he was little -- and the recovery took a very long time, too.

I certainly feel sorry for Michael but after reading the story - it stated he didn't pay for a video game then told on the kids who stole his dad's bike - what a brat - but even a brat does not deserve to be burned. Restitution should be paid to all kids.

A brat?!? Damn man ummmm so what was he suppose to do when they tried to steal his dads bike? Set them on fire?

"Restitution should be paid to all kids"

Yeah, like I really care about that $40, now.

How dare you call this boy a brat. You have no idea what had been going on.

A brat??? You are an idiot. Are we raising baby loan sharks now? Who cares about $40. If he knew who stole his dad's bike, was he supposed to tell his dad he didn't know? This poor kid is fighting for his life, and you call him a brat??? Maybe someone should set you on fire.
