Just a quick update about the case of Bill Sparkman, a census worker whose bound, naked body was found in a Kentucky forest back in September. The case was especially puzzling because the word "fed" was written on Sparkman's chest. His family have said the death must have been murder, but an unnamed source is telling the AP that authorities are leaning more towards the suicide theory. They note that Sparkman's hands, though bound, had some room for movement.

Guess the person(s) that murdered him has close family with connections. This stinks of a cover up by the local yokels.

They have to protect their pot growers and moonshiners don't they?

This is beginning to smell real bad.

This is beginning to appear as a case of the local authorities not having the ability or resources to identify who might have been involved, and instead of simply admitting that, impugning this man.

I think he was trying to write "KFED I love you" on his chest and when he forgot the K, he freaked out and off'ed himself.

I would think it would be hard to duct tape your own hands.....
Unless you were into that kind of thing. i.e. David Carradine

Let's hope this is a case of the FBI playing a bit of diversion, hoping to get the nuts behind this to behave foolishly.
Maybe take credit, etc.

Don't you think if FED was written on hi back, and his hands were tied behind his back, and someone else's fingerprints were on the tape and ink marker that they would call it murder? None of those things were true.

When younger, I was forced to live in Ky for 8 years. Lemme tell ya, the law there does what they WANT. PERIOD. Verrrry backward, and yes, verrry scary there! "Yes, Virginia, there is a place like in that there Deliverance movie!"

I'm glad to learn of the courage and restraint displayed by the investigators who concentrated on the crime scene rather than the Washington Pundits blabbering about left-wing and right-wing nonsense.

He died in a stress position. Try standing for a day or so; you will finally be so tired and in such agony that will no long be able to stand and you will hang yourself. That's a rope crucifixion.

Suicide? Nobody would be dumb enough to believe that.
