Balloon Boy's folks told to pay $42K

They're going to be sentenced tomorrow, but their lawyer has already said that authorities want the Heenes to pay $42,000 to recoup the expense of searching for Balloon Boy.

Good. I also think that it would be best if the state took the kids away from those insane parents.

I suspect $42G doesn't even come close to how much money was wasted during their hoax. I say they should be required to do yard work and house cleaning for everyone who participated in the "rescue attempt" for a minumum of five years. Oh and be beitch slapped any time they try to have a camera pointed at them.

Nobody wants their nutty kids. They're cute as heck but I prefer to watch them from afar - wouldn't want to be the one having to pick them up from the principal's office.

Piss poor parent = piss poor kid.

A large percentage of the time anyway.
