Cop who stopped Fort Hood shooter might not return to the beat

One of the police officers who reportedly stopped the Fort Hood shooter says she probably won't be able to return to regular police work. Kimberly Munley, who was shot in the leg, will need a complete knee replacement, which will limit what she can do physically. She hopes to stay in law enforcement in some other role.

I wish her the best, but I feel that the male cop who was involved didn't get the respect due to him from the onset of this story. I think they gave her the credit because it sounded better to the media.
