Police kill suspect in Wash. officers' murders

Officers
Clemmons

Maurice Clemmons, the man accused of murdering four police officers from Lakeland, Wash., was himself shot and killed early this morning in Seattle, the AP reports. Clemmons was carrying a gun from one of the officers that he reportedly shot. Investigators say they've also arrested four people who allegedly helped Clemmons after the initial attack. (One of them might be his sister, who -- police say -- helped bandage a gunshot wound that Clemmons received from a dying officer.)

The Tacoma paper, meanwhile, has a good piece about the officers who lost their lives: Greg Richards, Tina Griswold, Ronald Owens and Mark Renninger.

Heh, I knew there was no freaking way this guy was going to see the inside of a courtroom.

Yeah I didn't think he would make it there either.

Justice prevails for once! I hope the devil is giving him his dues!!!

Good... this waste of a life won't take up any more court time or jail space. Hopefully his final moments were extremely painful and unpleasant.
