The Joplin Globe has a piece here about Ashley Freeman and Lauria Bible, two Oklahoma girls who disappeared on Dec. 30, 1999. That was Freeman's 16th birthday, and it was the night that police found her parents murdered in their Welch, Okla., trailer, which had been set on fire. The working theory is that Freeman and Bible met with a violent end, too. Two convicts have bragged about killing them, though police aren't sure if they're telling the truth. A $50,000 reward is still offered in the case.

We often hear of convicts bragging about killing someone when they really did not. This waste of police time deserves a fitting end. If you brag (or in anyway admit), you do the time whether you did it or not. Do you want to play games now?
