KSHB has a piece about a Hook, a KCK woman who went missing a couple of weeks ago:
The KCK mom left her home in the 2500 block of North 33rd in Kansas City, Kansas, on Dec. 5. She was headed to The Legends shopping center to do some Christmas shopping. She hasn't been seen since.
"We haven't heard a word at all. They haven't found her car," said Joella Hook, Angela's mother.
Angela drives a dark blue 2004 Dodge Stratus. Joella Hook fears KCK police are not aggressively pursuing Angela's missing persons case because she had a drug problem five years ago.

I knew Angie from the old Northeast. I sure hope she's okay. A lot of my friends didnt make it out of that neighborhood alive.

I know Angie, as well, and have for years. As a lifelong resident of Northeast, I don't know who you were hanging out with, but if they didn't make it out alive, you were apparently hanging out with the wrong element. I have never had issues there, but unlike poor Angie, I never got lost in the drug lifestyle. I truly hope she's OK and wish only the best for her family.........

Anon Noreaster-In my case, a misspent youth helped me avoid a misspent adulthood.
And yes, I saw waaay too much of the wrong element.

I lived with Angie and her family when in High School and Angie was never one who would take off without talking to someone! I like most people moved out of NorthEast and never kept in-tought with people. I wish everyone could do something for the family with the holidays this week.
This needs more time on the News! Jo / Mom if you need help please let all of us know!

I work with Angie. We are all worried about her. It is not like her to no call/no show. I pray for her safe return everyday. One of our co-workers has made flyers for everyone to hand out. I know that several people were talking about going into kc, ks to hand them out. I hope the police will decide to investigate.
