America has a difficult job in balancing freedom with the need for security. You can't have it both ways. This is the only resdience of a Head of State that is also a museum and open to the public. It is also situated just a few blocks from some of the worst crime areas in the Country. What do you really expect?

If I was the President, I would put a Waffle House in the White House.

he has a private chef.. surely he knows how to scatter, smother and cover them?

Mmmm White House waffles...

I would take foreign heads of state and get them addicted to cheesesteak omelettes and hashbrowns with a bunch of crap on them.

What this means it's not just Obama's fault?

Even multi-talented actor Mickey Rooney showed up unexpectedly at the White House gate, wanting to discuss veterans affairs with Barry. But he didn't get in, he was short an invitation.
